Telenor has entered into a framework agreement with EDB 4tel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EDB Business Partner. The agreement provides Telenor with access to the systems development, maintenance and consultancy resources of EDB 4tel for the next two years, and represents a significant contribution to EDB 4tel's order book.

Telenor signed a three-year framework agreement with EDB 4tel in spring 1999. The new contract extends the existing agreement between the two parties to the close of 2003. The agreement provides for Telenor to purchase 800,000 consultancy hours over the course of this period, with an option to extend the agreement by a further 150,000 hours over the same period.
