Facts about the merger EDB and ErgoGroup were formally merged on 14 October 2010, with the merged company initially taking the name EDB ErgoGroup ASA. The background for the merger is a shared desire to create a leading Nordic IT company that will be sustainable and competitive over the longer term. The merger was carried out with accounting effect from 30 September 2010. EDB ErgoGroup reported consolidated proforma figures for its business areas for the third quarter of 2010. The merged EDB ErgoGroup is Norway’s largest IT company, and one of the leading Nordic IT companies, with some 10,000 employees and annual turnover approaching NOK 13 billion. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and operates from headquarters in Oslo with major activities in both the Norwegian and Swedish markets.
